Shrimp tacos are something that are incredibly easy to make and with the right toppings deliver a ton of flavors.  The rub on these tacos is slightly smoky and it goes perfectly with the fresh pico and garlic lime crema.  As with any taco the toppings allow you to customize every taco to your own tastes.

I made this with a strawberry margarita, but would also go well with a fizzy lime margarita, or an Orange Citrus Margarita.

Makes 10 small tacos.

  2. Add in the shrimp marinade and allow to marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  3. When time to cook shrimp heat a fry pan then add cooking oil once hot.  Add shrimp to pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until just cooked through. The shrimp will turn an opaque white color. Be careful not to over cook because shrimp will become rubbery.
  4. Once shrimp has cooked through remove from pan and assemble tacos.
