Steak pitas are one of my go-to easy weeknight meals. They are perfect for when I’m feeling like I want a lighter meal, but still want some flavor. These pitas are very simple. Just a quick marinade on the steak, a simple sauce, and some fresh vegetables to fill up the pita. I server them with some crispy broccoli and it a very filling very easy meal.
For me the key to this dish is the fresh tzatziki sauce. It makes the entire pita seem fresh. Also the combination of the sauce and the Feta cheese balance each other out perfectly. Its not really worth posting a separate recipe for but, this also make for a really good dinner salad.
To make the broccoli is also very simple. I like to make it in an air fryer because it can cook the outside fast, leaving the inside tender and the outside crunchy. The added lemon zest gives this broccoli another layer of flavor when it chars in the air fryer, making this crispy broccoli have a toasted citrus flavor.
In all this recipe is one of my favorites and I would recommend you try it.
