Homemade tzatziki sauce is something I always make when I am making Greek Pitas. I have previously posted a version of this recipe but felt like it deserved its own post. This sauce, while simple offers a nice crisp fresh flavor and can be used as a dressing, a dip, or a topping.

If you aren’t familiar with the flavor of tzatziki sauce it is made with cucumbers, yogurt, dill, lemon juice, and garlic. The cucumber and dill give it the fresh flavor. While the fresh garlic and lemon give it the nice crisp zing.

I have previously made this on Steak Pitas with Fresh Tzatziki Sauce and Crispy Lemon Broccoli and its also great on Greek rice bowls.
